We, at MSC Ireland, are committed to respecting the privacy of our donors. We have created this Privacy Policy to inform donors, constituents, and any others who interact with MSC Ireland of our online information and data practices. This Privacy Policy applies to all information received by MSC Ireland both online and offline, in any format, including electronic, paper, verbal, and through the MSC Ireland website.

We collect information from you when you visit and use our website, make a general donation, place an order (such as buying raffle or event tickets) complete a form or register for an event.
Personal information we collect may include, but is not limited to, your name, address, telephone number, organization name, email address, credit card, bank, or billing information, depending on the type of transaction or correspondence you have with us.
Information is collected using a variety of methods. You will be asked to provide personal information when making a donation or when requesting information and updates through our website, e-mail, direct mail, or telephone communications. You will always be made aware of when a certain function of the website is not possible without giving the necessary information.
Payment information is required for making donations or completing an order. Credit card donations made though our website are managed using a secure payment system STRIPE.
All credit card data is processed securely by STRIPE. MSC Ireland staff receives your contact details and the amount of your donation only in order that we can record and acknowledge your donation. Where credit card information is provided for example; by phone or at an event, the data is securely shredded after processing the transaction.
In addition to the personal information listed above, we receive certain aggregate data from your online activity on our website. This data is collected by us or our technology providers and includes, but is not limited to, your IP addresses, Internet service provider, browser type and language, referring and exit pages and URLs, date and time, amount of time spent on particular pages, number of links you click while on particular pages, search terms, and operating system.
How we use Collected Information:
Information is collected from you primarily to process donations, complete your orders and confirm your transactions with us. Your information will be used to fulfil your donation or order and to follow up with you by phone, post or email with confirmation and receipts. If any issue arises in the process of completing your donation we may contact you to resolve this. We may also contact you to discuss the ‘Charitable Donation Scheme’ which allows us to claim tax back from Revenue on your donation.
We may also use your information to share details with you about the work of Mustard Seed across our communities, via newsletters, appeals, campaigns etc and to advise of upcoming events/programmes eg; Volunteer Programmes, in support of Mustard Seed Ireland. If you complete a form on our website or other, to express an interest in volunteering with Mustard Seed we may contact you using the details supplied.
We do not rent, sell, or exchange any personal donor information that is received through our website or stored in our database.

We will respond to your request within one month from the date your request is received.
